About Me
My work sits at the intersection of emotional science and conscious parenting. It is designed for parents who hold themselves to a high standard in how they show up-whether in their careers, their homes or both-and who recognise that parenting asks something fundamentally different of them.
My journey into this work didn’t begin with a qualification.
It began in the hardest season of my life.
When my eldest child was two years old, my mother passed away after a long battle with cancer. At the same time, I was continuing to build my legal career, carrying significant professional responsibility and raising a young child without the support network I had always imagined would be there.
I was grieving, exhausted and trying to hold everything together.
From the outside, I appeared to be coping.
On the inside, I often felt overwhelmed.
Parenting challenged me in a way nothing else ever had. It exposed parts of me that I hadn’t yet understood. I was often running on empty, reacting faster than I intended and trying to control the entire narrative of my child’s existence.
As a lawyer, I had been trained to think clearly, act decisively and remain composed under pressure.
Parenting asked something much deeper of me.
It asked me to stay present when I was triggered, stay connected when things felt difficult and to understand not just my child’s behaviour, but my own.
That curiosity led me to explore what sits beneath the surface of our hardest parenting moments: emotional triggers, inherited patterns, nervous system responses and attachment dynamics.
What I discovered changed everything.
I realised there was nothing to fix.
There was something to understand.
I began to study what sits beneath those hard moments and to question not just how I was parenting, but why I was reacting the way I was. I became curious about our inner consciousness and the patterns beneath the surface: emotional triggers, inherited conditioning, nervous system responses and attachment dynamics.
This is when I realised that there was nothing to fix, but rather something to understand.
That understanding changed everything- but not overnight, and not because my children suddenly became easier. It changed everything because I began to see behaviour differently. I became less focused on controlling what was happening on the surface and more interested in understanding what was driving it.
I started to recognise my own triggers before they took over. I became more intentional in my responses and less reactive in my reactions. I learned that connection was not something that happened after behaviour improved-it was often the thing that made improvement possible.
As my understanding deepened, so did my relationship with my children. The home felt calmer. Conflict became easier to navigate. Repair became more natural. Most importantly, I stopped measuring myself against an impossible standard of perfection and started approaching parenting with greater awareness, compassion and confidence.
The impact was so profound that what began as a personal journey became a professional one.
I went on to train in Conscious Parenting, attachment theory, nervous system regulation and Circle of Security Parenting because I wanted to understand these principles at a deeper level and help other parents access the same shift.
Today, my work brings together both worlds: the analytical thinking and structured approach developed through years as a commercial lawyer, and the emotional insight gained through my own parenting journey and professional coaching training.
While every family is different, I have found that the challenge many parents face is remarkably similar.
They do not need more judgement.
They do not need another parenting hack.
They do not need someone to tell them they are getting it wrong.
They need a space to slow down, understand what is happening beneath the surface, and develop a way of responding that feels aligned with the parent they want to be.
That is the work I do today.
My Mission
My mission is simple- to help parents move beyond surface-level strategies and develop the self-awareness, understanding and internal stability that allows them to lead their children with greater clarity, calm and intention.
I understand the world many parents operate in. The pressure, the responsibility and the constant expectation to hold everything together. I also understand why that composure does not always translate when it comes to our children.
Parenting has a way of reaching the parts of us that no other relationship can. It exposes our triggers, challenges our assumptions and invites us to grow in ways we never expected.
The shift from reactive parenting to conscious parenting is not a personality trait.
It is a skill.
A skill that can be learned, practised and strengthened over time.
My role is to help parents understand what is happening beneath the surface, develop the awareness required to interrupt old patterns and build the capacity to respond with greater intention, even in difficult moments.
Working with me is not about fixing your child or becoming a different kind of parent.
It is about becoming a more intentional one.
When we understand ourselves more deeply, we create the conditions for our children to thrive.
My Methodology
An integrated framework grounded in evidence-based disciplines and applied in a way that is practical, human and designed for real family life.
01
Conscious Parenting
Examining the beliefs and conditioning you bring to parenting. This is not to assign blame, but to create choice where automatic reactions once lived.
02
Attachment Theory
Understanding how early relational patterns shape connection, boundaries and repair and how to strengthen that foundation with intention.
03
Nervous System Regulation
Developing the ability to stay steady in the moments that matter the most to your family. Regulation is a skill that can be learned.
04
Behavioural Frameworks
Clear, practical strategies that translate insight into consistent action so that you can respond with confidence rather than react on autopilot.
